Lovelee Boutique is about to hold a grand opening party on November 18th.

A grand opening party for Juice Lovely Boutique in downtown Cape Coral will be held on Saturday, November 18, from noon to 4 p.m.

Boutique offers “Affordable Styles for All Women”.and offers clothing sizes small to 3X, along with shoes, jewelry, handbags and gifts.

The event will feature the Dawg Pound food truck, Wild Roots Hair Salon providing fairy hair, LinkedIn x Jade & I Jewelry and SWFL Health & Hydration providing IV drips.

Plus, there will be lots of giveaways and the first 50 guests will receive a swag bag full of goodies. Cool Beans Cruises is offering a catamaran cruise for two, Riverchase is giving away Skincare Beauty Dollars as well as free products advertising Sherlock Holmes Pest Control giving away two gift certificates.

Crisp Creperie is moving to a new location

Crisp Creperie has moved to 2301 Del Prado Blvd., S., Suite #840, next door to its previous location.

The French Creperie continues to serve sweet and savory crepes for breakfast and lunch, along with $5 mimosas, beer and wine, and daily specials.

Th Crisp Creperie is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 3pm.

Schwigk was named branch manager of Townsend Title Insurance Agency

Townsend Title Insurance Agency has announced the appointment of Jesse Schwig as Cape Coral location branch manager.

Schwigk started working for Townsend Title in 2011 as a processor while attending North Fort Myers High School. Upon graduating in 2012, she left to pursue her undergraduate degree at Florida State University. In the year She graduated from FSU in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree and returned to Townsend Title as a closing officer.

Elite DNA Behavioral Health is launching a statewide toy drive for Toys for Tots

Elite DNA Behavioral Health, a local comprehensive behavioral and mental health care provider, is hosting a statewide holiday toy drive to benefit local children with Toys for Tots.

From Monday, Nov. 13, through Friday, Dec. 8, Elite DNA is collecting toys in 31 states and is calling on the community to donate new and unwrapped toys.

Toys for Tots is a national initiative through the US Marine Corps Reserve to collect new toys and distribute them to underprivileged children. The goal is to bring holiday cheer and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.

Elite DNA has practices throughout the state of Florida and is collecting unpackaged toys at locations in Bradenton, Brandon, Brooksville, Cape Coral, Dare Beach, Fort Myers, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Jupiter, Lakeland, Largo, Lehigh Acres, Maitland, Naples. New Port Richey, North Tampa, Ocoee, Orange Park, Ormond Beach, Oviedo, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, Stewart, Tallahassee, Tampa, Venice, Wesley Chapel and Weston.

The community is invited to drop off donations at any Elite DNA location Monday through Friday, November 13 through December 8, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Fort Myers Brewing Co. will host a Thanksgiving Eve Bash Nov. 22.

Fort Myers Brewing Company kicks off Thanksgiving weekend with its popular Thanksgiving Eve Bash, featuring special beer releases, food trucks and live music on Wednesday, Nov. 22 from noon to 11 p.m.

On tap for the Thanksgiving Eve Bash are several of Fort Myers Brewing’s popular seasonal brews, including Keg Nog, an eggnog-inspired imperial stout; 2 Star Wish, a traditional Christmas ale flavored with nutmeg, cinnamon, orange and vanilla; Pumpkin Porter, a porter with a touch of allspice, nutmeg and cloves; and Cranberry Shandy, a slightly tart cranberry wheat beer infused with lemon.

The event will include a food truck parade, Don’t Pay Attention, Socky’s Kitchen, Vesuvius Wood Fired Pizza and Wicked Stratery.

Guests can enjoy live and DJ music throughout the day from DJ Memphis from 4pm to 7pm and Rock Republic from 7pm to 10pm.

Norman’s Love Sweets, which offers cooking classes

Norman’s Sweets of Love is currently offering culinary classes for the rest of 2023 to create amazing chocolate desserts.

The three-hour interactive classes are perfect for individuals or groups who want to be chocolate for the night and create a treasure of their own, which they can bring home with them.

The classes offered last from November to December and focus on a variety of desserts:

• Sculpted Chocolates on November 17: With staff guidance, you can make everything from hand coloring to liquid chocolate and mixing custom ganache to fill your handmade candies.

• Hot Chocolate Bombs December 1st and December 15th: Spend the holiday season creating deliciously delicious hot cocoa bombs with Norman’s Sweets Master Chocolates.

Each class begins at 6:30 pm at 11380 Lindbergh Blvd. in Fort Myers and requires reservations. The cooking classes cost $95 per person. Class duration varies depending on the subject. Private rooms are available upon request.
